Room was clean and well stocked. Newly remodeled room and building. Conveniently located downtown. Secure neighborhood. Hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and prompt. Only areas needing improvement were hotter water temperature of water out of shower and better perimeter security. An exterior door was noted to be ajar at one point. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.
The A/c didnt work, so we were actually told to sleep with the windows open... the street was very loud. We were offered a breakfast voucher but that didn't mean much when all that was given was cold cereal, and and egg sandwich. Also, sketchy people in the hallways walking up and down making loud noises
The most comfortable bed!! Problem with parking. Their lots were full. It’s down town so folks who should not be parking in the Aspen lots took full advantage. We were stuck with on street parking and that was frustrating. They need to get better control of their parking lots for guests only.
The staff was super friendly.

Unfortunately, the room I reserved was not available and I was placed in a substitute room that did not meet my needs. I was not informed about the substitute until I returned to the desk to check out. The staff apologized profusely. The GM assured me that I would not be charged. I wished it could have worked out because I was looking forward to the amenities.

We chose this hotel over cheaper options mainly because it advertised a spa. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told that the sauna wasn’t working and wouldn’t be fixed anytime soon. That was extremely disappointing, as the spa was the main reason we were willing to spend more money to stay here. Had we known, we would have chosen a more affordable hotel that at least included breakfast.
What made the situation worse was that the staff didn’t seem particularly apologetic and didn’t offer any kind of compensation or gesture of goodwill, such as complimentary breakfast.
The room itself also had a few issues. It was on street level, and the blinds were quite see-through, so we could clearly see the lights from passing cars and people outside, which made it feel less private and disrupted the atmosphere. There was also no hair dryer in the room, we had to request one after arriving.
Overall, the stay didn’t meet our expectations, especially considering the price we paid. Because of this experience, I wouldn’t stay here again and will be seeking a partial refund.
We were locked outside at 11:30 pm for close to an hour. I had left the key card in the room. I was told if that happened there was going to be a night security person. He came for work when we were locked out and also couldn't get into the building. He was very nice and really tried every option but I had a child with me and a flight to catch. He was eventually able ro get a guest who could hear the pounding to let us in the lobby. He didn't know how to make us a key and wasn't able to get ahold of anyone on rhe phone until close to an hour. Very stressful. Also the overflow parking lot had nonguests staying in their cars.
