"We had an amazing historical suite. The bathroom was huge. The main bed was huge but the tall height of the mattress made it almost impossible to get in and out of bed. The room was really only set up well for two people. We had three with only one light blanket for each of the two bedding areas. Mendocino is chilly so sleeping was a cold experience. There were also only two towels. They probably would have given us more towels and blankets but we were too tired to realize it would become a problem. The hotel itself is amazing for history buffs. It is beautiful and makes you want to learn more about history of the region. Then there is also the big swing on the second floor deck overlooking the bluffs and ocean. We really loved it in spite of the sparse linens. My granddaughter basked in the huge tub."

"Such a cute and well kept hotel! Each room’s door is part of the western theme, inside the rooms are modern and the beds comfy. Next time we are in Willits, we are definitely staying here again. Check in was quick and the nearby breakfast special was perfect! "
