We loved the quaintness of the room, complete with a gas fireplace and floor to ceiling drapes. Having a restaurant right on site was incredible. I especially loved the girl dinner deal! We enjoyed the stay and the property was beautiful.

The property where this beautiful mansion-like home is located is exquisite. From a distance, the drive feels like approaching something special, which it is. If you like natural beauty and quiet, come. If you enjoy birds and deer and lush greenery, come. The staff was attentive. The room I had (with a long balcony) faced the back and was perfect for me. The pool was the best: for some reason not crowded. Food was very good and eating areas very inviting. Great running areas. Bikes available.

Peaceful, The home built in 1820 has so much charm, the additions, porch dining, furnishings, grounds options for gatherings and weddings make this an ideal setting for luxurious events that are at the same time unpretentious. Guests tall and small all can find a sense of home, adventure, and pampering in this one spot! The staff were welcoming, cheerful, kind, and so personable while carrying out duties to maintain a vast property and care for the smallest details of each visitor! The property and people were lovely! Don't miss sunset and sunrise on the extended dock, or from the waters edge gazebo. Swimming is serene in the pool and riding a bike around the property brings out your inner 12 year old. Best 24hrs vacation, just 1.5hrs from home, that I've ever had!
