โShared bathroom was not a problem at all but the fact that the bathrooms are not in the guestrooms was a bit inconvenient. But excellent services by the staff who make you feel at home and the fact that this actually was a home (to a member of Japanese royal family) gives it a truly unique experience.โ
โWe had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. โ
โThe room was huge, brand new and beautiful with incredible amenities, but the service sets apart the Kamo from other hotels. The staff repeatedly went beyond expectations.โ
โThis is a very nice and clean accommodation! I stayed just one person for 3 nights. Owner is friendly, helpful, and kind! Close to major bus routes. Shower and bathroom were clean and easily accessible. Great guest house, i enjoyed my stay!โ
โprofessional staff that was very helpful in helping me in receiving and sending my luggage bags. the hotel was very nice, with clean rooms and a atmospheric lobby. the hotel itself is in a quiet area, but still close enough to walk to the busier areas and especially close to popular temples and other similar areas. when needing to go further distances both bus and train were easily accessible. this is my second time at this hotel and my preferred option everytime I'm in Kyoto โ
