Small place in a great location surrounded by Kyoto's best streets. "no shoes" flooring inside, if that's a factor for you. Great bathroom, and overall was super comfortable.

Exceeded expectations

Booked this room in Kyoto for the extra space and comfort, and was very impressed! Having extra room for myself and my Brother and his family to relax in after a day of sight seeing was a great call. It wasn't cheap, to be sure, but it exceeded my expectations and is one of my all time favorite experiences with a hotel. Sometimes it is worth it to splurge a little, especially with how small most hotel rooms are in Japan. The llocation was also perfect! Highly recommend!!!

Loved it. It was very clean, modern yet traditional. It even smelled soothing in the halls and lobby! Location was perfect for our needs. They do have a wash/dry machine - but it is a condenser-style dryer so be prepared for a long dry time. There are several walk-able laundromats in a pinch. Would 10/10 stay here again.

Yes, very comfortable stay. Spacious room, large bathroom, both immaculate. Staff was always helpful. We felt like we were in a neighborhood. Everything close by. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and would stay here again.

Excellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.
