Room should have been repainted 20 years ago. Sofa belongs in the dumpster. Floors needed a serious scrubbing. Website featured a coffee pot in the toom (nope), free breakfast (nope) and a lovely lobby (definitely nope). Plus side: sheets were fresh, bed comfy, and fridge & microwave were good. Oh...and it was cheap. Con: You get what you pay for.
We checked out after I actually toured the room. Nasties on the wall, door, leaks on the panel ceiling, nowhere to plug in phone. No ice machine. No laundry. Pool has been concreted in. Ended up staying McAlester for cheaper, bigger, actual amenities for $15 less than this nasty room. Do not bring children here.
The stay was awful. People partying all night and being loud. If I didn't already paid for the room we would have went further on to Hugo to find a room. The place smelled bad. I went to the store to buy air freshener. Plus the the owners liked to watch and record people from their window. We didn't even feel safe leaving our stuff in the room. So, we packed up every day.
This was a last second booking due to another hotel giving away the room I had reserved. The room was very worn down. Tile floors looked dirty. It smelled like something had died in the room. Two of the three lights over the sink were burnt out. The water barely came out of the sink even when on full. There were weird wooden planks covering the windows. All in all, it was very shady, very run down, and definitely not comfortable. I took pictures but the app is not letting me upload them.

Don't stay in a 2-star hotel!
All three hotels in Antlers were rated 2-stars. I'd never stayed in a 2-star, and hope I never have to again. The condition of the room was really was very poor. Although I never saw any bugs, I sure expected them. I wasn't given the wifi password and since I had called 3 times the day before when no-one ever answered, I didn't even bother trying to call to get it. And there was no phone in the room. The couch had a big stain on it. When I arrived, the front door was locked and I rang the bell twice and then started banging on the door, finally he came to the door. I could go on, but I won't. Oh, but the TV did work well.
There was nothing to like about this crappy motel. Filthy, in bad repair, roaches, someone's hair on the cigarette-burned bedspread... In the top three worst places I have ever stayed and I lived in India for a couple of years. I was taking my elderly father on a trip and he is handicapped. They had no handicap rooms or accommodations of any kind. Well, there was one decent thing; they had new and nice towels, even if I did have to get them myself.
What did I like????? Seriously, there NOTHING to like about this establishment. It was horrific....looked as though the grass around the property hadn't been mowed in months. The room was "straight" but did not feel nor smell clean. (glad I brought lysol and bedding) From the moment we walked in we felt as though there were bugs crawling on us. (I even left one on the bathroom floor so the "whoever" could see. Not to mention the "roamers" outside. And by roamers my husband would call them "lot lizards"....oh my, if we had only known. No way in H*** I would ever stay in this place alone. Or every again.....Lesson learned for sure......
Now the town itself is totally different.....WE LOVED EVERYTHING about this quaint little town. And the people we interacted with were so kind and friendly. This little town definitely could use a more "decent" hotel/motel run by people that actually care about the property. The choices of a place to stay are limited..
The shower filled up water before u could get done...smoke alarm needed new battery....they didnt have one...they just said sorry was all they could say
Well maintained for an older building Clean room friendly staff
