“We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The location is beautiful and surrounded by nature: one of our highlights was watching a family of toucans right in the tree near our accommodation. “The rocking chairs on the porch are a nice touch. The view of the Arenal Volcano is tremendous. The gardens are well maintained. The hot springs are enjoyable. There is a hot pool next to the pool bar is fun. There was an exciting dance show. Ext to the oool on Saturday night. The excursion cans picked us up at the hotel lobby.”

“There are 2 parts to this review. First the property is amazing, set in beautiful grounds with clearly marked trails and lots of birds and wildlife. All the staff are really helpful and clearly passionate about the location they work in. We did the onsite night walk and saw lots of animals including sloths, agouti, kinkajou and porcupine, alongside frogs and beautiful birds. “Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!”

“We loved our time at Rancho Cerro Azul. It was an awesome place with a friendly staff. The two bedroom cabin was perfect for our family of 5, plenty of space to all sleep comfortably without being on top of each other. It was clean and a great value for the price, it was also located close to restaurants and a lot of the area attractions. Our only complaint is that our specific cabin (#10) was right near the road, so there was a little bit of noise, and also the drain on the patio hot tub...
