The hotel was right next to train station food was lovely and room was very clean But was very disappointed on the hotel bar closing at 10.30 fir 11 we walked in after being out fir nice meal thought we head back to hotel fir few drinks but the barman served us saud the bar was closing e had one drink when the backing music switched off barman had his jacket on left at 11 Porter on the door I must say what a waste as the lounge is done up lovely too so we were very disappointed and for that reason we won’t be back as we like to head back to our hotel at night just chill out in the lounge

Great, classic hotel in a very convenient location. Room was large and well equipped (Nespresso machine was a bonus and rare in the UK). Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced and perfectly located. Highly recommended.

Had a great night's layover here on our journey through Scotland and found Oban to be a great little town! Hotel was great, found parking a short walk away, and the room had a great view of the sea. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Very quiet hotel. Lovely staff, very frendly and helpful. Good bar and suana / steam room. Very clise to harbour and local shopping. No car parking at hotle but available clise for a charge. Definitely return to this hotel

Fabulous stay at the Perle, Oban. Lovely room with great views over the bay. Bed extremely comfortable, loved the Nespresso machine, great shower and lovely toiletries in bathroom. Restuarant was in the process of being refurbished, so only had breakfast in hotel. Freshly cooked full Scottish breakfast was delicious. Service from staff excellent. Enjoyed drinks in the Lulu lounge in the evening. Again, staff first class. Check in and check out very quick. Will definitely return to the Perle and would highly recommend.

The staff were extremely friendly, but the lift was broken and took two hours for breakfast to be served running on a half staff!! Not good enough

We loved the charm of this hotel. Old world, with up to date amenities. The bar was great and the breakfast is excellent.

The weather didn’t allow us to travel. We left messages with the property and got no response from them to cancel and re-book. Poor at best, very unprofessional.

2 Night Stay
Room first class, very clean, everything you need. Unfortunately breakfast as last year was really disappointing. Thought we would try again. Scrambled egg was like an omlette, full breakfast was clearly reheated and still not warm. Cost us £30, what a waste of money. Shame as 2 years ago breakfasts were amazing. Cancelled breakfast on our second morning. Apart from this we had a lovely stay at the hotel. Reception, bar and breakfast staff were all very nice and cocktails amazing.

Beautiful hotel with incredible views of the waterfront. Walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and shops. Parking was off-site but it was still a convenient option. Staff were friendly. The room was beautiful and we cannot wait to return and stay longer and explore the spa!

The service was amazing in the hotel, the spa, and the restaurant. The hotel is a very close walk to the train station and the ferry.

Very helpful, kind people. Everyone accommodating. Bar staff brilliant! Front desk folks couldn't do enough. 1 drawback. 1 price for breakfast and we can't eat THAT much food to warrant the price. Would love to see an ala carte menu when we return.

Fantastic hotel, amazing facilities and had the best dinner at the hotel restaurant BAAB. The staff were sincerely accommodating in leaving a candle gift for my girlfriend on her birthday and singing happy birthday with a candle in her dessert. Will be back, thank you again!

Chosen for location and didnt dissapoint. Unfortunately we were only there for two days and meeting family so didnt get the chance to use the soa services. Breakfast was good, dinnet good and bar good. Allround good break. Will be back

The hotel was ok. We were in room 103 on the front of the hotel. So at 6:30am we were woken up by buses idling in the lay-by at the front of the hotel. Not good at all. The extra bed that was put in the room wasn’t level and the mattress had a join across the middle of it so it was very uncomfortable. The heated towel rail in the bathroom wasn’t working so we had wet towels in the morning as they hadn’t dried from the shower the night before.

This is an excellent hotel with comfortable, modern rooms that nonetheless retain some of the vintage charm that one expects in a classic hotel. Staff are great, especially Laura at the front desk and Nikolai in the restaurant.

The room was the very best part. Great view, very attractive decor, clean, and good bathroom with soaps, etc. Breakfast was fine, but not as exciting as the experience of some reviewers. No parking on site, but it's easy and cheap to park in the train station lot.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The spa was nearly impossible to coordinate and there was no one at the desk to greet me when I arrived for check-in. The restaurant was also closed for dinner which was a shame because we were looking forward to it. Aside from that, we found the facilities, location, cleanliness, convenience of parking and affordability of the property really excellent. Would stay here again.

Only problem was lack of parking at hotel. They recommended parking but it was all full. We had to park 2 blocks away.
