The views of this property and from this property were amazing! It’s right down the street from the Inveraray castle and super convenient if you visit.
The town is very walkable and there’s lots to do!
We made reservations when we checked into the hotel, we learned from our travels this is a must do, no matter what day of the week you stay. Or at least book a restaurant near by in advance. We found that you had to make reservations for dinner in advance otherwise you’ll end up eating take away or something very quick.
The hotel is cute and has some history to it, the room has a nice modern bathroom with nice views and welcoming snacks. The bed was a little lumpy but still comfy, overall it didn’t job.
They do have slightly thin walls so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
Charming hotel in a beautiful town.
Friendly staff. Eva was specially accommodating, she even communicated with us in spanish.
My wife and I would recommend this hotel highly.
We had a really lovely stay in our 3 rooms very comfortable and extremely helpful and friendly staff.Recommend my kipper for breakfast.very kind and helpful to dogs !
I only had a late night arrival and early morning exit, but they accommodated my late arrival and the bar was well put together and relaxing for a drink after a long travel day. Even with the quick turn around the Inn and beautiful town of Inveraray left me wishing I had more time to spend there.
We can only recommend this hotel. Even it is from 1755 the rooms are in a perfect state - everything is clean.
The staff is so friendly and they have a lovely bar and a good restaurant.
Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful Scottish town - would definitely stay again. I would caution anyone with any difficulty with stairs - there's no elevator in the building and no rooms on the ground floor - but other than that, the hotel is a beautiful old building, well kept up, modernized, great staff, and a truly beautiful location.
Room was very nice, comfortable and clean. However, the noise of the kitchen extractor throughout the night made it difficult to have a good night's sleep. Otherwise a good stay and we enjoyed our break.

Paid around £240 for 1 night stay. Room was tiny, you can hear everything going on in room above you and noisy next to road... If it was cheaper I wouldn't mind but too expensive for what it is.

Beautiful location but mediocre at best
Surrounded by beautiful nature, but old eatablishment which could use an upgrade. Blinds in the toilet did not work properly and the drain in the shower was clocked.
Breakfast was mediocre especially the full Scottish breakfast; one fried egg, 1 sausage, small cup of beans, 1/2 slice of haggis and 2 pieces of bacon. Pretty disappointing
At checkout we were charged an extra £155 for an upgraded room which we DID NOT request. There was no mention of this at check-in. It's a pretty shifty way to do business. We were not impressed

Beautiful location for an okay hotel
Clean and tidy hotel but a bit tired. Breakfast wasn't great food wise. Cheap products that were over cooked. I think you pay for the beautiful views
Needed an overnight in the area and this fitted the bill well. Clean and comfortable with a good breakfast.

Weekend at Inverary
Room provided was good with super king-size bed. Teas and coffee were standard supply. Views were excellent.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Good location for sight seeing.
Meals were excellent
I loved this hotel , it is very old and has loads of character. The creaky and uneven floors just adds to the charm of the place. Nice log fire in the bar and great bar food. I'll definitely be back.

Nice staff.
Staff were very good. Efficient speedy service.
Room was a bit basic. Not as clean as I would expect. For instance there was a thick layer of dust on top of the bed’s headboard.
The extractor fan in the bathroom had a loud knocking noise on switch on and when slowing down after switching off.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms excellent. Food 10 out off 10. I would stay there again
Lovely stay, We really liked inverary its self and the best Western didn't disappoint . Nice staff and a decent bar, with a nice dining room and good food.
Easy parking with lovely views across the water , nice walk to the shops and cafés, would recommend.
Overnight stop off. Breakfast was superb and apart from a rather cold greeting at reception, the service was friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous.
But the rooms were tired, ridiculously hot and a bit cramped.
