“The food was really good, both in the evening and at breakfast. one draw back was that breakfast is served in a small restaurant which soon becomes quite crowded. The room was clean but the radiator didn't work so we had to use the noisy air con to heat the room. the issue was reported to staff, but nothing happened. The Spa facility consists of a pool with a small sauna and steam room. Which was OK to use during our stay which was for a friends birthday party.”

“On arrival the reception is modern and well furnished and lovely decor, the reception is small and welcoming and the young lady on reception was excellent, we even managed to check in early @ 12 as our rooms were ready…. I cannot fault the checking in process and the receptionist, I didn’t get her name…. We were shown how to get to the rooms and as soon as we went through the door that led to the rooms it was”

“Amazing place! Hosts were amazing they couldn’t do enough for us, 100% be staying again, hopefully i am working near there in the winter so i can try out the log burner.”

“Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated throughout. Adjustable heating and lighting very comfortable bed and quiet area. Nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room too.”

“The deluxe room (labeled "Penthouse") was quirky being up several stairs and was in the roof with dormer windows. It had too much furniture in it for the size. Ok for just a 1-night stay. Breakfast wasn't anything to shout about and was overpriced. Overall, we thought that the price for the room and the breakfast was too high. we didn't use the spa or the pool (maybe they merit the price for some people). The location suited our purposes, but we probably won't stay there again.”

“Overall a nice stay but the rooms needed a good clean and some simple renovation. The bed frame/fabric base was all stained, the floor was stained and the window latches all broken so the window was either wide open or shut. A couple of £1 hinges would fix it. Spiders in the shower in both rooms. The staff were great, parking easy, bar was nice. Just needs some simple tlc”

“the bathroom smelled like the pipes to the sewer were not right. the smell was there when i checked in and never went away. they don’t clean corners so there nice rooms are going to age quickly.”

“Great little pub on outskirts of the city. Its an old pub that has a lovely vibe to it. The pub itself is great the surrounding area is a bit dodgy. Room itself was spot on. Nice comfy bed, great shower and had a lovely stay there after meeting up with some mates. It was £50 for the night so you're not getting the Ritz.”
