โOne of the best properties to stay in Crete to get the real Cretan countryside feeling. Magnificent mountain and hill views, comfortable room and very nice people. Part of the Skalani area, good access to highways, and only 15 minutes drive to the center of Heraklion. โ
โA truly unique experience, it felt like we were staying at a friendโs place rather than at a hotel. Very homey and our room had a beautiful view. The restaurant was charming, with delicious food and we even had a group of excellent musicians with authentic Greek dancers in costume. Anther bonus - it was a 15 minu LP te drive to the airport. A great stay! โ
โThe views from the hilltop were spectacular and we loved sitting outside with our delicious breakfast. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable and as the final days of our trip this was a perfect wind down. I would love to go back for longerโ
โWe arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities.
Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more.

โStunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Canโt recommend highly enough. โ

From the private pool to the high-end finish out of the houses, it is just stunning. The kitchen is so well stocked to make anything. โWe stayed in a small village not far from the city center, a place with its own history and wonderful people. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Right next to where we stayed there was a church, and spending time there lets you truly feel the local culture. We stayed in the โSofiaโ apartment, which had its own terrace very cozy and homely. There was a kitchen, the only thing missing was a kettle, but overall itโs a very pleasant place with everything you need close by. The host is really friendly...
