“Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there.”

“I paid for a superior room with king bed with the photo clearly showing a desk and chair. My room did not have any desk or chair. Only 2 of the 4 elevators worked when I checked in, with no apparent effort to fix the others. On my last day, only one elevator worked while hordes of people were waiting on every floor to go down, including many with luggage. We had to ride all the way up to the top on the sole working elevator to make sure we could squeeze in as there was no other way to make it...
