"Elevator is broken, very outdated, carpet is filthy, linen is thin and old. TV doesn't work. Room key didn't work and with no elevator we went up and down 3 times only to check out because the toilet didn't flush. The towels were thin as sheets. It wasn't as advertised. Children were playing in the stairwell (workers family members) "

"My only issue is when we arrived was informed that the check in will be at 5pm. On the hotel website including “Hotel”.com it shows 3pm check-in. I booked two rooms for myself and another family member. We drove 6 hours to get to hotel to get told the rooms still being clean and other guest have not check out yet. The website is misleading if the check out is at 5pm instead of 3pm. Once my husband call and the hotel to speak with the manager was told they are not in today. Why was the manager not onsite. Few minutes later was told the room is now available. "

"The only good news is, the room & the bedding were clean but there was one thin blanket (glad the heat worked). It had a kitchenette with zero silverware, pots/pans, dishes glasses or cups - ZERO. $30 at Salvation Army would go a long way. No coffee maker. I asked the desk for a metal spoon for ice cream, they only had plastic. A kitchenette with no hardware is not a kitchenette. One lamp was missing a shade (see photo), the aluminum strip covering a 1 inch flooring gap was loose, almost tripped. The room was outdated, which is not a problem, but it was just tacked together. I'm actually pretty resilient & can easily lower my standards to match the conditions but this was too much. I'm just glad it was clean. The hotel is a small family operation and it’s obvious they're trying to make it. Blessings to them for that, but sorry to say I won't be back."
