โThis motel is a throwback that's been modernized. You don't see this anymore, spacious motorcourt with landscaping, sitting areas, ice machine, swimming pool. I'll be back!!โ
โThis property is really a hidden gem of a hotel. The rates are very reasonable and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The property even has a natural waterfall and a fern grotto which is extraordinary. The rooms are older but very clean and well maintained. Also the beds are very comfortable. The room also has a small refrigerator and microwave.
All in all this is a place you should really consider. I know i would definitely come back.

โI need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesnโt come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...
โThis is a great deal. If you need a clean place to stay the night in a safe area this is your choice. Very simple design with upgraded interior and has fridge and microwave. Basically two bedrooms to sleep in and bathroom /shower but perfect for what we needed coming in late. โ
โItโs great when you can support an independent motel instead of the big chains. We enjoyed a clean comfortable shower and sleep in a comfortable very well kept little motel. The a/c was wonderful, cool, with a steady sound that never awakened me the way the ones at too many other hotels have on our cross country trip. โ
โThis is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area.
A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...
