Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and it was very easy to locate and the complimentary usage of the bikes was a cherry on top. Definitely would be staying here again.

Staff were great, a very accommodating. Rooms were small, and room entry was through the sliding glass door, but could be locked with the room key when leaving for the day. Not bad, just different. Proximity to Casino Point was excellent for scuba divers.

Great location!! we were on first floor due to no elevator. but the staff was amazing very caring. We were there for a wedding and I needs a few safety pins and they found them for me. we will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay at Bellanca Hotel. The room was kept very clean and the housekeeping staff were great to come at a time requested. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed at this hotel several times going way back to when it was Portifino Hotel. The rooftop patio has been updated and nicely appointed with outdoor furniture. It has to be one of the best ocean front views of any of the hotels. Our Cabana room was a nice surprise being larger, having a small patio and some other extras like a closet and robes. We will definitely go back to Bellanca.

I liked the location of the hotel. Avalon is very small so everything is walkable. This hotel is on the farther end away from the cruise ship disembarkation area which made it less crowded. The best time is after all the cruise ship people leave around 4pm and the town is quiet again.

really liked my stay here! only thing that threw me off a little was the fact that my door was a glass sliding door but other than that i really enjoyed my stay here. the staff are friendly and the lucky fox (restaurant attached to hotel) was very delicious and priced well. i also love that the hotel provides bikes for you to ride around the island on but i will admit ITS VERY HARD!! catalina island is full of steep hills and it was very difficult for me to bike around. i recommend getting e bike if you’re wanting to explore more but if you are just wanting to bike around the main strip you’ll be fine.

Clean, comfy, and peaceful!

The stay was amazing! The courtside rooms were peaceful and beautiful! The Naughty fox had amazing food and it was nice to be able to bring the food back to our rooms and enjoy it in the comfort of our hotel room. Staff were friendly and helpful in every aspect of our stay! They helped us with our bicycle rental and were accommodating to keeping our luggage while we went to church despite us being 3 hours early for check in.

The small rooms were very nice and recently renovated. Very helpful staff. There is a small bar and restaurant on site with limited hours. The location is perfect: walk to everything in Avalon, yet not crowded or noisy. Did not like: the room door is just a glass sliding patio door (not very private). No bedside table lamps. Needs a second luggage rack.

Liked the Groupon price from Newport Beach to Santa Catalina Island. Ship was clean with good amenities! Did not like the parking cost near Catalina Express by the pier. $40 per day or $120 for 3 days of parking. Street parking not available. The Ballantine Hotel on Main Street with roof top was perfectly located!
