Beautiful resort with amazing views. This is a ski resort so lots of restaurants and shops in the area were already closed for the season. Staff was friendly and our room had a lot of space with great views. It’s very relaxing which is what we were looking for. Only downside was we thought we were going to have breakfast and we did the 1st day but after that were told it was closed for the season, only coffee.

The entirety of this hotel ad on Expedia is decisive. I have booked two queen bed which clearly says so on its page and we were told that there is no such room available, that was really shocking and messed up our stay. The amenities were under repair but that was no issue since we were able to use the neighboring resort. The location is great, the lobby and cleanness were really good. The check in experience was not good. The front desk young lady was somehow bothered by our presents and impolitely throw the brochure of the town and saying "well here is the town." I appreciate the manager tried to undo everything she did but again at check out, she was rude like as if we shouldn't be even bothering her. Typical of Colorado to hire unprofessional inexperienced staff for some reason we all know why.

The condo is nice and a good location. They were working on the condos which was loud and dusty, but we were warned in advance. There was a list of suggestions to do in the condo when checking out such as strip the beds, take out the trash, etc. It didn’t seem appropriate to request these things.

The facility has no air conditioning and our room faced west. The afternoon sun was brutal. Our room was over 90 degrees and never cooled down even with the window (only one window so no cross ventilation) open and fan on high. One electric receptacle was missing a cover and VERY loose. We don’t recommend going to this facility any time from mid May through September.

Located in a beautiful setting, it is very much like a lodge: cozy and warm. I stayed overnight during the “off-season“ so there were not many people here. I was OK with that. But, because it was off-season, only one elevator to the rooms was operating, which meant walking a great distance through the lodge from the parking elevator to the room elevator, and walking a great distance to the room once I reached my floor. I walked past a couple of elevators that were not in service, and couldn’t understand why one of those wouldn’t have been better to keep in service. The room has no air conditioning (I guess it is a lodge, after all). A box fan had been provided, so slept with the window open. Not a bad thing, but the fan was extremely loud. The pilot light in the fireplace was big enough to keep heat radiating from the unit which made keeping the room at a comfortable temperature challenging. I imagine during the winter this would be a wonderful place to stay. I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer and wouldn’t want to stay here in the off-season again, especially at a high rate for just one night to struggle with climate control in what otherwise was a very nice room.
