"Spacious room and nice easy check in on arrival. Friendly staff on reception. The taxi from the airport would have been an extortionate 25 euros for a 2 mile trip so we decided to walk which took us just over half an hour.. The kitchen facilities were inadequate though as what is the point of providing a cooker yet not one single pan to cook in!!! Seriously, not possible to cook anything so why even have a cooker! A very strange noise occurred both nights which kept us awake - on the final morning I established it was a drain issue. Breakfast was ok though there were no eggs."

"Excellent hotel overall. One huge opportunity for improvement is the dining experiences. We tried to have a salad around 9PM but found that the one we wanted was only available in the bar area. Service was extremely slow as they were significantly understaffed and the wait time was excessive, The tiny bottles of water offered for sale were also a disappointment. But the breakfast experience was much worse. When we arrived for this upscale priced meal, we found that the cue for the omelets were long and blocking access to the warming trays of scrambled eggs and other items so you had to ask waiting customers to move as you tried to access the warming trays. Then we found that the warming trays were largely empty and the limited staff were focused on cleaning tables so people could find a place to sit instead of keeping food items replenished. Again, understaffed for the number of customers. Overall, I would stay here again but avoid the restaurants. Big disappointment for a world-class hotel chain,"

"The property was clean, honestly we booked for the free shuttle to the airport as I didn’t want to navigate it myself. The breakfast, which we didn’t buy was just a few bakery items and not even opened at the time they said it would be. The early morning check out staff and shuttle drivers seems to lack basic customer service skills. The driver made us all stand outside the van while waiting for the last customer and the front deck associate looked like his dog just died, I sure hope that wasn’t the case. Either way it suited our needs."

"Was very clean and everyone spoke English well or at least able to communicate. There was nothing around the area so you need to catch an Uber or bus to go to Centro Madrid. Bus to airport was pleasant. A little pricey. But overall a good stay."
