Expedia charged a lot more than I could
have paid with booking direct with the motel, That was a little upsetting

โWe chose the Lytle Park Hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the suites. The room was gorgeous and had beautiful furnishings and decor. The luxury bedding and bath amenities added to the ambience of our stay. The hotel has a lovely lobby bar as well as an authentic Italian restaurant with a variety of options to suit everyone. There is also a rooftop bar to enjoy in the evening. All in all, the Lytle Park Hotel did not disappoint. โ
โSecond time at the Pickle Factory one year apart. Excellent hotel and stayed in the themed Cigars & Bourbon room again. Location is great as youโre close to downtown Cincinnati but not in the middle of chaos. It is an Airbnb setup so check-in time is 4PM and the earliest you can enter is 3:30PM. Before that, parking was not available. Overall an excellent, room, hotel, and location. โ
โExcellent. Spacious, extremely clean room/suite (#403). Nice view. Bright lighting. Lots of windows with natural light. Black out shades worked perfectly.
My only suggestion: a small fan/exhaust fan would be nice in the bathroom area.โ
โI forgot to get the invoice and called them in few hours to email it. I was transferred to another centre where it was so difficult speak with a rep. Donโt understand why this was a difficult task for the rep I spoke with at the hotel. It literally took 20 minutes on the phone back and forth. โ
โWe booked a double bed room and they assigned us for king and said that they only had a king bed available. We told them we booked a double bed and that we wanted to move into the right bed that we reserved and then the front desk lady was half shouting at us that they cant do anything about this situation.
Then she asked if we wanted a sofa bed which we said yes to because we didnt want to move the hotel we were too tired. And at the end they meant just the sofa, not a sofa bed to sleep on โฆ....
โWe loved our stay, hosted by the delightfully kind Maria (who can whip up one heck of a breakfast). Our favorite was the magic of fire flies all around us while relaxing on the front patio on a warm summerโs evening! โ
โOverall, I was quite happy with my stay. The location was great for access to the riverfront park which was very nice to stroll along in the evening. My only nits were that it was a pretty good walk to get to any restaurants, the closest grocery store was nearly a mile away and the bed frame squeaked every time I rolled over. On the other hand, if you wanted to go to a Reds game youโre right next door. โ
