The biggest pro of this place is the price. My room was dirt cheap and I didn't expect much for that price. I didn't get much, either. From a service standpoint, the daytime manager was very friendly and efficient. I'll address the night clerk later. The hotel is very old, no surprise there. No elevators, and apparently- no real air conditioning either. Rooms were a decent size and clean enough, though a little dark due to being lit only by floor/desk lamps. Again, for the price, this was all fair enough- I was in town for a party so when I got home from that- late at night, I found I couldn't get into the hotel again. It was 2am, and I (and another couple also trapped outside the hotel lobby) rang the doorbell and knocked many times, and even tried calling the hotel. Nothing worked. We finally made enough noise to alert some other hotel guests inside. When we got in, we discovered the hotel employee in the lobby, fast asleep. I had to reach across the desk to get the room key that I'd left there, but I really could have grabbed ANY key as there was no waking him up.
