Absolutely brilliant stay! The landlord and landlady were fantastic—extremely welcoming and well-organised. The place itself was very clean, well-maintained, and professionally run. Amenities were excellent and everything was just as expected (if not better). A very pleasant stay overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience.
Shona was an absolute delight. Such a friendly welcome. Parking was just outside the front door. Situated on the sea front just over the sandunes to the beach. Very comfortable room with arm chairs and foot stools situated so we could gaze over the sea. A lovely place to explore Barmouth from. I would definitely, and probably will go back. I wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay. Very happy with the accommodation.
Very friendly and well managed guest house. Comfortable, clean, and under the management of a fantastic couple, Malik and Shona, who gave us all the best local knowledge on where to visit, where to eat, and how to make to most of our fabulous trip to west Wales.
What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment
I was very pleased to find that my room (no.5) had recently been refurbished with new fixtures and fittings! The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. A fridge was included, which was useful for storing breakfast items. Free parking outside on the street was ok in May, but I imagine it could be a problem in high season. Barmouth Train station is a 5 minute walk away with trains roughly every 2 hours north to Pwllheli and south to Machynlleth. The hotel owner has conveniently posted the timetable in the foyer.
Short (1 week) stay for myself so stayed in a single room. Room was perfect for my stay and very comfortable. The hotel was also very quiet which was also a benefit.
The owners were friendly nothing any trouble. They also run a indian restaurant in the town, food was amazing. Our overall stay was the best from start to finish. Thank you x
Shona and Basha made our stay very comfortable and couldnt have helped us feel more welcome. Lovely couple would highly recommend staying her and eating at the Saffron resturant in Barmouth for a beautiful meal.
The hotel was clean, bed extremely comfortable, hosts very friendly. Only problem for me was that we were on the top floor and I have problems with my hips. Next stay will definitely be on a lower floor.
If you are thinking about visiting Barmouth, the Seascape is absolutely the best place to stay. My husband and I stayed at the Seascape in Barmouth for 3 days, and we could not have had a better experience. We had a Seaview, and it was beautiful; every morning we enjoyed our coffees in the lovely seating area in our room, looking out onto the sea! The bed was sooo comfortable; at home I wake up every morning with a bit of a backache, but for the two nights we stayed here, not an ache or pain. The shower in our room was amazing! The rooms are clean and large, and with a fridge in the room, we were able to buy and bring our own food as well.
By far, the BEST thing about the Seascape are Shona and Bash, our hosts and new friends!!! They are amazing, and absolutely everything you want in a host; they go out of their way to make sure their guests are well looked after...no request is too much. Shona and Bash are wonderful guests, and more importantly to my husband and I, genuinely beautiful people!
