“A perfectly pleasant hotel, if a little generic, What it lacked in atmosphere as a place, was lifted by the helpful, friendly and cheerful staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home.”

“Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”

“Excellent staff committed to ensuring that the Cliff Hotel is one of the best three star hotels. Consistently good over a number of visits I have made.”

“This was our first time staying here and definitely won’t be the last. From beginning to end a wonderful experience. Both hosts professional, friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds with super shower and spotless well equipped room. Made to feel extremely welcome 😊”

“Service throughout stay was very good, check in quick and with no issues. Room spacious and had all the amenities required. Breakfast and restaurant meals very good with great selection for both.”

“Very characterful and unique - little bits of history all over the place, and nice big sitting rooms to relax in.”

“Great family room with separate bunk beds for the children. Brilliant breakfast and canapes and staff were great. Only downside was the hot water wasnt working very well so had coldish showers.”
