โAbsolutely lovely place, Very modern styling, Comfy bedding, Big shower and all round very nice, Unfortunately though, When it came to the bathroom, We found the toliet seat wasn't even bolted on properly in Room 1, It kepts sliding bout when lifting the seat. Was little annoying, and the only other thing that would make it Absolutely the best is a mini fridge to be able to keep food and drinks cold. Other than that, It was absolutely lovely 8.5/10โ
โFantastic stay in the Hatfield Lodge Room 2 was great, spacious, quiet, clean. The shower room was lovely large, i feel it maybe a cleaning product used but it seem to leave the floor very slippery and the shower could do with some anti slip texturing on the tray and a handrail for safety. Only down side needs plugs next to the bed. Apart from those points would happily stay again. โ

โVery friendly staff. I had the opportunity to order an evening meal (Sunday) which was excellent. Breakfast was included which again was excellent. Help yourself to cereal, fruit juice and DIY toast. I ordered the vegan hot breakfast which was brought to me on a plate, everything was hot and cooked to my liking. โThe Hotel was excellent the staff were very polite helpful friendly tidy and very good at their job. The breakfast was not only amazing piping hot very good quality very big and was given service to the table. The room was spotless the bed was very comfortable plenty of tea coffee etc only one thing no lift to top floor but very boutique style would definitely go back โ
โAs I filled in the check in form online before arrival, the whole process took literally a couple of seconds. The staff were very polite and answered all our questions.
We had a set menu dinner at The Terrace hotel restaurant - very reasonable price and top quality food, we had all three courses. Good selection of wine also. Next morning we had breakfast- again, plenty of choice and service โ
โThe reception was very good and reassuring, room clean and comfortable, dining room very good with a very good menu. But no lift.. They in the middle of refurbishing with plans to improve the access problem โ
โThis is a rare gem tucked away in rural Suffolk but not 2 mins from the excellent blue boar pub.
The hotel is friendly and welcomes furry friends.
To get a breakfast included was phenomenal.
