โWe booked this the day before we arrived and ended up staying a second night. Our host and his wife were great. The rooms were far better than we expected for what we paid. We paid a lot more for less in previous places but thats the luck of the draw when you book late.
Would have no qualms about recommending this hotel.โ
โFantastic stay in the Hatfield Lodge Room 2 was great, spacious, quiet, clean. The shower room was lovely large, i feel it maybe a cleaning product used but it seem to leave the floor very slippery and the shower could do with some anti slip texturing on the tray and a handrail for safety. Only down side needs plugs next to the bed. Apart from those points would happily stay again. โ

Breakfast was very good .
Having and iron and board in room excellent also fan brilliant for myself .
A lovely last minute stay in a position with beautiful views and convenient position for our evening out . โ
โWhen we arrived the owners came to great us. Very friendly, explained everything very well. Room was perfect with a lovely view. Bed comfortable, breakfast was amazing and great selection. Loved the fan on the wall.
Only bad thing i would say is upgrade the pillows, uncomfortable, even with 2. Room was hot even with the fan on the wall. โ
โBeautiful boutique hotel and we had the best room .The Suite . .. comfortable bed could have done with softer 2 pillows .. other than that absolutely stunning and perfect for us .
Breakfast excellent.. we ate twice in the evening and the food was fantastic. โ

We were welcomed by a lovely gentleman,wish I had asked his name ,he was so nice ,all through our stay he asked if we were ok ,did we need anything,was great. The food is amazing,generous portions ,breakfast was so yummy .

โAs I filled in the check in form online before arrival, the whole process took literally a couple of seconds. The staff were very polite and answered all our questions.
We had a set menu dinner at The Terrace hotel restaurant - very reasonable price and top quality food, we had all three courses. Good selection of wine also. Next morning we had breakfast- again, plenty of choice and service โ
โFirst time using a dog friendly hotel, so was a little cautious about what to expect, however no need whatsoever. Great hotel, great location and great staff. Very friendly and made us very welcome.โ
โIt's a good place because it's close to the beach.
It's nice to have tourist attractions and amusement parks around here.
