"We had a great time staying at the Norblad. After a long, demanding weekend of motorcycle camping, I last minute booked a room here and it was better than we could have imagined. They have record players you can carry into your room and records to borrow, artfully displayed all over the walls of the lobby. Communal kitchen with all the amenities. Cozy beds AND our room happened to face the ocean and bridge. Sarah Ann and Jack were so helpful, cool and kind. They let us store our gear ins locked closet so we didn’t have to leave it on the motorcycles when wandering around. It’s also in the best location. 10/10, we’ll be back :)"

"Wonderful stay - rooms were clean and inviting. Great views of the mouth of the river. There are indeed sea lions - didn’t mind their barking at all. Food in restaurant was great. Would stay again next time I’m in town. Definitely worth the cost."

"The staff was very friendly. Location was great. Room was exactly as described. I may have missed it, but the rooms don't have cold air conditioning. Has a radiator for heat, but it was an exceptionally hot summer day. Slept like a baby either way. Enjoyed my stay."

"This place is great, it's my second time staying there and each time the hosts are super easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is on a quiet and really safe area/location and is decked out with everything you would need at a place to stay. It's really thoughtfully done to provide the best accommodation to those staying there. Unlike many places that provide you with the basics, they have board games, bikes, helmets, washer and dryer, toiletries, all the kitchen supplies you would need to make any meal, etc. It really is a great location to stay. "
