We stayed at Raintreeโs Sandcastle and had a mixed experience. The staff was exceptional. The were consistently friendly, helpful, and really the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the room itself didnโt live up to the same standard.
There was no air conditioning, and with temps in the high 70s, the room got uncomfortably hot. The fireplace pilot light, which you canโt shut off, added to the heat. We had to keep windows open just to cool things down, and it didnโt really help until late at night.
The bathroom wasnโt great. We had very low water pressure, and the tub didnโt drain, which made for a gross shower experience. The TV was tiny and outdated, not ideal if you're planning to relax in the room.
The kitchen was a plus. It was well stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, which made it easy to prep meals without issues.
Just be aware: this is a timeshare property, and it feels like Expedia rents out the units when owners arenโt using them. Thatโs fine, but it explains the odd mix of condo and hotel vibes.
