“The room was great although the jacuzzi water was cold most of the time. The food was amazing from the restaurant. We didn't have much options as the hotel is in an isolated area unless you have a car to get around which we didn't. It was very relaxing. Beautiful views and amazing weather. ”

“Everything about this place is awesome. Affordable, 5 minute walk from the city, quiet at night, jacuzzi and steam room, and an unbelievable breakfast. Best part? The staff by miles. Only amazing people there ”

“Great view from room of the rock. Easy transport to rock by motocab. So worth it to stay overnight and go up the rock before the crowds. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Good breakfast and on site restaurant. Easy walk into town. Room cozy/rustic with bed a double. Bring your own shampoo, hair dryer and hand towel. If needed. ”

“Nice location with a beautiful view, super friendly staff. It is not close to the Peñol monolith but it is at a walking distance from Guatapé town which definitely worths the visit, you may consider this for your stay.”

“The view from the room was terrific, and there was easy access to the water. Floaties and kayaks were available to use. The food was okay. (I’m vegetarian, so all I had was fresh juice and grilled cheese, and the bread was decent.) ”

“Large, beautifully designed and maintained property— both landscaping and architecture. Vistas of the water and access to it are excellent. Very clean. Very comfortable. Excellent food and service. Staff was kind and helpful. We did have a plumbing issue in our room. But staff attended to it immediately and fixed it. Proximity to the Piedra del Peñol couldn’t be better. It’s a bit outside Guatape, but readily accessible via Tuk-Tuk. ”

“I stayed for 2 nights at El Pescador Guatape. The appartment was well maintained and located just out of the center of Guatape. The contact with Juan (host) was very easy and he had good suggestion for activities and dinner places. Overall great experience. ”
