“When we booked the room through Expedia it said double or twin, we requested twin beds but on arrival were given a double bed room. This room is in the annex building and was very tired looking and the carpet very dirty. The bottom of the bed did not have a cover over the box spring. The hotel was unable to accommodate us with twin beds so we had to upgrade to another room costing an extra 86 pounds. The staff was helpful in doing this . This room was slightly better than the annex room but...

“Helpful staff”

“Everything. We are coming back !!!!!!!”

“料理は夕食、朝食とも素晴らしかったです。”

“Not exactly a five star hotel. Ok though for a stopover.”

“BUYEER BEWARE1! we booked this hotel specifically advertised it said it was located in chipping camden a village in the heart of the cotswolds The address online was Mikleton, Chipping Camden. I actually called before we booked to confirm it was chipping camden..Upon arrival we learned IT WAS NOT in chipping Camden...Chipping camden was 20 miles away. Our trip was based on sttaing in chipping camden and hiking from there . When upon arrival, we realized we were lied to about it's location, we...

“I would not stay here again. The rooms are old and tired. Avoid at all costs the first floor rooms in the building across the courtyard. They are incredibly hot and stuffy--even when it was cool outside. They know it because there are 2 fans in the room, which didn't help at all. The management at the hotel was also very unhelpful. We used a third-party vendor to book the room for 4 nights and prepaid it. Because of our schedule we wanted to shorten our stay by one night. Management told us they...

“It was quite good to stay looking around cotswold area. Food served for dinner was very good even though it was pub style. It was family trip and it fits for that.”

“Our luxury double room was spacious, clean and kept clean by staff each day. The only comment we would make was that the continental breakfast was not exciting and therefore somewhat disappointing for my wife who does not eat the cooked option.”

“The staff were most welcoming and helpful. The property is absolutely gorgeous and food and drink was amazing!”

“One of our two favourite inns on our Cotswolds journey. The staff was charming and very thoughtful, and the room and dining were perfect. We upgraded to the Oakley room and were so glad we did. What a fantastic room with wonderful amentities and all of the charm you could expect from a historic building - I think they said it is over 400 years old. Dinner and breakfast were the best of our trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“This is a nice hotel for a true tutor experience. The breakfast was gone to fall. And you can’t beat the location. They did email me about room type and I did respond specifically and did not get the room I wanted. So make sure you remind them at the desk when you check in what kind of room you wanted. Unfortunately for me bad knees, I had to walk up two flights of stairs with my suitcase.”

“the property was set in a grate location for all the local amenities and roads, the interior was full of rustic charm.”

“The hotel is located near the Moreton-in-the-Marsh train station, which makes it very convenient to access for travelers without cars. I found the staffs kind, and the library on the first floor is nice and cozy. The room itself is a bit small and the TV didn't work, but I didn't mind too much. I'd visit the hotel again”
