I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!”

“Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. ”

“The property has recently been purchased by a new owner who has started to modernise the building. The hotel room that we stayed in was very large with a very comfortable bed and plenty of furniture to store items for a longer stay. There were the usual refreshment facilities that were stocked up everyday and the room was nice and clean with an excellent bathroom. The staff were very welcoming, professional and always happy to serve. The restaurant food was very good quality and the portions...

We'd certainly stay here again. The Cosy Double Room we had just for 1 night was very clean and in excellent condition.”
