Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. “The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! “This is a fabulous base for exploring the Cotswolds. The staff is very helpful, and the restaurant is very good. There is also a shopping area close by (King’s Walk). The hotel car park is difficult to access. There is construction that prevents Google Maps from providing accurate directions. The front desk staff tries to give directions, but it was hard to digest. Overall the hotel room and amenities and breakfast were quite good.”

“Most of the beer in the bar was off. We asked for an extra fan for the room, it didn't turn up. My wife is a vegan, we asked for oatmilk in the room. That didn't arrive either. To cap it all when we left we were told that we had to pay an extra £55.00 as the price we were quoted was less than what it should have been. Won't be stopping here again.”

Reception staff and bar staff were helpful and friendly, the restaurant was a little more chaotic with missed food orders, unable to answer questions about food, and dropping used breakfast cutlery in our laps causing us to have to change clothes. “I think this was the best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot world wide . Great welcome, room spacious and clean. A nice area to sit in in the evening, food was available and lots of people were eating, we just had a glass of wine . Breakfast was really good, great selection, fresh and good variety . Friendly helpful staff, great location, quiet, good value for money, what more can you ask for ? Thank you x”
