Great location, beautiful and stylish room with modern facilities- water, kettle, coffee machine, towels, tv etc Perfect location for buses and Cité Alto. Our biggest problem was it was all electronic check in. On arrival, our code wouldn’t unlock the ‘lock box’ to get our key or electronically open our room door and it was so difficult to actually speak to someone. I was on the verge of forfeiting my losses and checking in at another neighbouring hotel! In the end, we used the emergency number on the main door. We guessed the Italian options and it turned out we had been sent the wrong code. The owner apologised and our entry, within an hour of arrival, turned our day around but I’m not sure I could book it again for the stress factor.

When we arrived at the property the key codes which we were sent via the app didn't work. Imagine that! Travelling all day and then arrive to a closed apartment! Eventually, we managed to get thru to a representative who led us to a physical key. When I say eventually, this was a call to several places. In the end I found an emergency number. Lovely pad but being locked out surpassed any positive feeling of staying there. You have been warned.

This is very much out of the way. The car park to the front of the property feels like you are part of the conversation on the outside from inside your room. Perhaps much much better double glazing would help. The digital access system is very useful but due to the heavy locks etc you definitely know when someone has entered or left the building. Maybe some door closures would cushion the sound. The neighbouring property has steel ornate gates. Again perhaps some sort of rubber cushion on the interlocking part of the gate would help if the neighbour is agreeable. All that said if the owner would be a bit more active in providing tourist type of information all the gripes could be forgiven. Brilliant bus service from city centre and airport to right outside the property. List of nearest bars in resteraunts in the old and new parts of the city. Advertise the cable car 10mins away that goes to the centre of the old town. The noise was a right pain but this place is in a great location but seems to be afraid to say it.

No emergency fire exit

The room was in the basement so there was no fire escape. We arrived back at our room at 00.30am and the pass code didn`t work for our room. There was no key in the security box. We spent about 90 minutes on the phone trying to get them to send someone out and they only agreed to do it when we eventially threatened to contact the police.

Wonderfull location, with really bad host

First of all the comuncation is really hard. The telephone number is not in the hotels.com website, i need to search in google to get any contact, because the host don't write anything. Next one is the staff. They said, the staff will open the door, but we waited 30-40 minutes, and there were no one. After that we could go to the apartment, but the staff didn't understand what we said.. so we used the google translate. But really important information to guests, that there are no codes, you use a key, what they give you. Aftter all, the room was nice and clean. The area, the streets, awesome! The best district i think. Really happy with that. We had a really bad experience with other guests in the apartmant, because they were really loud. Listening to music at midnight, and we heard everything... i mean EVERYTHING. That's not cool... we tried to sleep, but that was hard. And the host only said, he/she can't do more, he/she just told the guest once... So i think it could be better insulated door or walls. I didn’t really like, when the hand washer tap had only cold water, but there is it. And the heating... Only have AC and that used to heating the room.. That's not the best solution. If i can say anything more, the host should buy at least one common fridge.

This hotel has in room 3 a bed which is so bad. You better sleep on the marble floor. Springs are seen in your skin in the morning. Terrible experience.

Cute little hotel in a great location

This is a lovely place to stay. Its very close to Carrara Academy and within walking distance of Citta Alta. There are several bars round the back of the hotel. Citta bassa is also close enough to walk to although the bus to airport and main train station stops across the road. The hotel is small and very clean. Room was beautiful. Shower very nice and spacious. There are tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was included. It's continental with some cheese and boiled eggs. People at reception are very nice although they speak limited English. Would definitely stay there again.
