“Mary was charming,friendly and a gracious hostess with southern hospitality.A wonderful lady who we enjoyed talking to and who made us feel at home. Upon arrival,she greeted us with the most awesome homemade carrot cake. Breakfast the following morning was also homemade and delicious. Her home was charming,relaxing and beautifully decorated. “Surprised at the condition of rooms. Bathroom poorly outdated and room felt rundown. Pleasantly employees but disappointing quality.”

“The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”
