Restaurant down stairs, centrally located. Clean room and all the amenities were nice. We packed a cooler because there was no fridge but it was perfect for our one night stay. Very responsive and would be booking again.
i have never rented a room where there is no front desk -- but it worked out wonderfully. i got txt messages with the codes to get into the room, etc. very impressed with how this all works. the txt messages were very prompt and i could txt questions or any issues i might have. very impressed. what makes the country lodge even more special -- is that right down stairs is the country kitchen restaurant! and it was fabulous!
The property was clean and the staff are super healthy in finding your room numbers and passwords. Theres no mini fridge or microwave but honestly there’s everything you would need for a stay for a day or two.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
You must get a confirmation message with access codes to the hallway and your room as there is no lobby or front desk. This was very inconvenient and not mentioned during booking. Its simply a room above a country Kitchen restaurant. Clean room and nice bed however the threshold between the room and the sink was lifting up and the brad nails were protruding and my wife had the bottom of her foot cut open
It seems like this hotel was recently renovated. It’s clean, safe, and comfortable. It’s in a central location. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and there’s a market nearby for snacks and drinks.
Great staff just needs more attention in the outside stair way. Over all for the price it was a good experience thank you :)

Paper thin walls, can hear every door close/person in the halls.
Stayed in room 1, you could hear music from the attached restaurant the whole night. Right next to road and can hear every car pass pretty clearly.
It's a cheap room with a bed
Getting into the room was very frustrating and the code they gave didn’t work. We did message the facility and it was quite a few minutes before they responded. There was an employee of the restaurant that let us in. The Air Conditioner didn’t work and the room was 91*, it made very uncomfortable to say the least.
This hotel is the quality of a youth hostel. The bed was clean, but too soft for my liking. There was a permanent yellow stain in the toilet, the shower was so dirty that I refused to use it. There was no place near the sink to put my toiletries so I had to use the ironing board as a table. There was no glass at the sink for when I brushed my teeth or to get a drink of water. There were no blackout curtains, only miniblinds, and there was a streetlight right outside the window shining into the room so it was very bright all night long. The building is right next to the road so cars could be heard all night except for about 2 hours. The worst part, though, was the chemical plug-in air freshener in the room. It was very strong and definitely not wanted, so I unplugged it & put it in the cabinet. However, there was another chemical-sweet smell from another plug-in that I never could find in the room. The stench was so strong. I didn't come up to get the fresh air of the mountains to be forced to breathe chemicals all night long. How do they not know how dangerous these things are? I opened the window to try to dissipate the smell, but that made the traffic noise even worse. I only got a couple hours of sleep. I had paid for 2 nights but moved to a different and much better hotel the 2nd night.
1. Since the room didn't have Air Conditioning (which I was aware of) I opened the windows to allow fresh air in. Unfortunately the occupants directly accross had loud music, and were working on their truck until late night. If you're a light sleeper this place is not for you.
2. I would go back to eat at the Country Kitchen which is directly below the rooms. The food and staff were great. I'll never stay at the Country Lodge again.
3. No cable TV. Their was a Roku streaming device. WiFi was good.
