"We stayed in 7A. The staff is friendly and amenities are great. The room felt like a tiny home, really loved it. They brought us some food for breakfast the night before, bagels coffee granola milk water oatmeal etc, which helped us start the day happy! The property is not far from Trinitidad and the beach & hiking up to a small mountain there in the evening was nice with a great view."

"I had a bathroom set up for assisted needs and it was perfect. Great shower and water pressure, super hair care products, huge easy to understand TV, good hot breakfasts, and the room felt homey and large. Very quiet even though it was right next to 101. Soundproofing must be good. I almost always choose Best Western for the way they accommodate dogs even though I did not bring any this time. I still enjoy seeing them around."

"This is a beautiful restoration of an historic property. It is part of a larger RV park, but has its own space and parking, as well as a small store (although only open til 6 PM). Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a good-sized bathroom with shower. Everything we needed was there! Several great dining options are just down the road. We enjoyed our stay immensely!"

"Our room was quaint, clean, nice decor, and well maintained, but the bathroom was so small it was barely usable. Also there were marks on the walls of the room that made it look tired and would be easily painted over. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared, but the 'innkeeper' was not friendly at all and was almost rude. The view was outstanding! But for the price we paid, we expected more."

"The Holiday Inn is located right next to the airport and just off the 101 hwy. I was greeted immediately by the friendly front desk staff. Super clean, quiet room, comfy bed and huge bathroom. Ample food available for breakfast. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport if needed. I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay there again."

"Older/historic hotel in the middle of town, right on main square. Room was on small size, but as expected for a historic property. Shower and water pressure in our room was awesome. Nothing better than robust hot shower after day of travel or outdoor. Breakfast was spartan, but enough. Not much more than bagel and waffle, but we’ve had worst. Location was nice, downtown Arcata is nice with nice boutique shops and nice town square. Finally the onsite Japenese restaurant, Tomo, I think separate from hotel, was very very good and super easy. Enjoy"

"This was a huge campground surrounded by redwoods! It had a little store, an arcade cabin, it was nicely landscaped with lots of flowering bushes and even a cute lighted gazebo. There were areas for RV and tent camping and cabins in different sizes scattered all over. All of it was dog friendly and there was even a dog park enclosure to let your dog off leash. Our cabin had a full size kitchen with dishes, a bedroom with a back deck overlooking the campground full of redwoods, a great shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water, a nice couch and table in the living room and even an extra bed with extra pillows and bedding. Our cabin had Wi-Fi and even a binder made up with all the information you might need for the campground and surrounding towns with local restaurant info listed and even a huge map showing all the nearby towns up and down the coast listing all the tourist attractions you might want to explore! Everything was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. This place was magical and way better than any hotels listed nearby, the best camping experience with the amenities of a hotel stay!"
