Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy Apollon Apartments Old Montreal
10/10 Excellent
"The property is beyond expectation! The property looks nicer than the picture. The building combines history with modernism. The area is just as advertised, it’s filled with history and culture . The picturesque streets are as beautiful as it gets. Highly recommended ."
"This is the second Omni we've stayed at in Canada where the hero of the story was the doorman! Rui was so great and nice to my 5-year old, he is still talking about him! "
"Booked this online and thought we were booking a regular room in a hotel in Old Quebec. As it turns out, we had booked an apartment next door to the hotel, which is part of the hotel. Room 16 was amazing! It had a beautiful living room with views overlooking the park across the street, a dining room, a piano!, a kitchen that was beautiful-better than our kitchen at home!, and a King-sized bedroom. Bathroom was nice also. Only challenge was the water in the shower went from freezing to scalding and it was a bit hard to control, but we figured it out. 5-minute walk to everything in Old Town Quebec. Hotel is set apart from the busiest part of Old Quebec so it’s very quiet, but you can be at any restaurant within 2-8 minutes. Breakfast was continental, but with amazing croissants, chocolate croissants and crepes, coffee, tea, small amount of fresh fruit. Would definitely stay there again."
"This hotel is located within walking distance of many places (I do walk a lot so that should be considered). About 10 minute walk to old port, older montreal, university area, etc. variety of food places from reasonable to fine dining. the beds were comfortable and had plenty of room. Do be careful in the shower, test the water. this is the hotest water I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was friendly and I always felt safe. There is a grocery store up the street, we picked up pastry and milk for breakfast. the room has a refrigerator so this was very convenient and affordable way to start the day. I would recommend if you are looking for a well located place to stay. Note there is no restaurant at the property so if you are interested in room service or eating/drinking at the hotel, this is not available in the hotel, it is a short walk away. As we found in other parts of Canada during this trip the cleaning service is every three days. We were fine with this, but if you like your room cleaned and freshened daily then this will be one of the places you should avoid. If I wanted to go back to montreal I would be very comfortable staying here again. "
