Staff were very helpful . Room was clean and spacious. Food was very good. My only complaint would be the limited car parking with no spaces reserved for residents despite the additional car parking charge.

Paying for parking is a real annoyance. I get it, people who are not resident should pay, but fleecing another £24 out of me on top of the high priced rooms is annoying. Food is frankly crap. Very few menu choices on horrible little terminals, missing fundamental condiments like English mustard. Rooms were either freezing or too hot. The heating in the room does nothing till you set it to 25+ degrees, then starts to warm up a bit before heating it to thermonuclear before you know it. Breakfast is OK but slow. All in all a very poor showing by what is supposed to be a premier brand. The Holiday Inn express down the road is better, cleaner and more personal

Great experience
Couldn't praise the staff highly enough. Really attentive, friendly & helpful. Thanks to Maddi who served me at breakfast. What a huge difference to my stay 2 days earlier in Winchester, which was a horrible experience.

Great hotel
Tick all the box's for me, had not one complaint, bus stop out side at hotel, every 20 mins for city centre, and swimming pool was perfect for me and my grandson, he want's to go back there again

Good hotel right by the airport and very pleasant service. Shuttle service was not operating so do ask ahead to make alternative plans.

Pleasant stay
We loved the hotel very comfy beds ,we got there earlier than check in time but they let us have our rooms , first day pool was a bit cold but we let management know and they sorted it by next day it was amazing for the kids to swim . There is a £12 parking fee to be aware of as its not states here on hotels .com

Nice place for families
Very cost-effective stay for families. The swimming pool condition was also great. Just one thing want to note is the room was not clean. For instance, there was a used coffee capsule inside of the Nespresso machine.

I had to relocate my family to another hotel.
Terrible stay and experience. We were charged for parking where your website clearly stated nothing regarding this. I selected parking and pool as the parameters and this hotel came up. I have stayed here in the past and did not get charged for parking. However this time they demanded £12 per night. I was shocked. The person at the desk told me this had always been the case so why wasn’t this stated on your site and why wasn’t I charged previously?? Then, my son felt sick in the room, we contacted room service and initallly she was really supportive and stated she will collect cleaning supplies and come back. 30 minutes later I get a call from the front desk and she stated that a cleaning service will cost £150 which has to be paid in cash!!! I was shocked. Never have I heard such nonsense before. Our room was stinking after this as we only had tissue to clean with. No cleaning supplies were given to help us. The smell was soo bad after the heating had been on, as it’s winter and our room was freezing, that it was literally not pleasant to be in so I booked a hotel elsewhere for our 2nd night and left without staying for my 2nd night. I am absolutely disgraced by hotel.com and this hotel. Unless a satisfactory refund is given, I will never be using your services again or be staying with IHG

It was clean and comfortable but room service was poor. Anf when we left to go to the airport the morning staff member didnt say goodbye. I then called to ask about the shuttle bus to airport and was told it wasnt running and left on hold. But it was running we were just lucky to spot it!

Staff were super- really helpful and welcoming. Room was great, but was given an accessible room (not requested) and spent 15 minutes trying to clear up after my shower as the ‘wet room’ was literally that - the whole room was deep in water and didn’t seem to drain quickly.

Very noisy
Stayed overnight with husband and adult daughter to be near to airport for early flight. We stayed in a suite with a double bed and sofa bed for my daughter. Whilst the double bed was very comfortable the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, very lumpy and she could feel the springs. The noise from the other guests was horrendous, the walls were paper thin and the other guests on our corridor, consisting of families etc we so noisy, children and adults shouting and banging, it was dreadful, none of us had a good sleep and would have had more sleep if we had stayed at home and got up the extra earlier time for our flight. Wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, however the rooms are not very soundproof, the road noise was terrible, also there was a large dog in the room above us which barked and ran around throughout the night.

Great staff
As a stopover hotel it was genuinely a great place. All staff were chatty and welcoming from the initial manager on reception to Jenna in the restaurant and the cleaner leaving a nice message. Just being nice is always good - well done to all staff. Facilities great - pool was a must and being able to use with 12yo on a night was a real positive compared to some other “village” hotels! Breakfast a good range of options.

Very enjoyable stay with shuttle service to NEC!!
Our stay was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We would give higher rating but when we went to charge our car up on site there were cars parked in designated space not being charged and the one left was out of order. Also a note left saying complementary waters and kitkats were in fridge but no kitkats?! Apart from these issues we enjoyed our stay. Finally the shuttle service from the hotel to NEC was excellent, thank you.

My stay was a truly brilliant experience. The hotel staff welcomed me with a smile and ensured every aspect of my stay was an unforgettable experience. When I arrived, the entire staff greeted me with warmth and hospitality. The courtesy van drivers were amiable and ensured a smooth and comfortable journey to the Hotel. The receptionists were attentive and accommodating, making the check-in process a breeze. Their genuine smiles and helpfulness set a positive tone for my stay. The catering staff, particularly the chefs, left a lasting impression on me. Not only were they highly skilled in their craft, but they also went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their friendly and welcoming demeanour made every dining experience a delight. The centre was well-maintained and offered a range of amenities that allowed me to relax and unwind. It was a fantastic addition to my overall experience at the Hotel. I am immensely grateful for your staff's exceptional hospitality and service. We shared a family room and stayed for 1 night. We loved the swimming pool and the messages from the maids were a nice touch. Friendly staff and fab breakfast. Would definitely stay again!
