I chose it because it had a kitchenette. The place was clean, and the staff were really nice. Plus, we worked nights and slept during the day, which meant we got restful sleep without any interruptions.

This hotel was really nice on the inside but mildly felt unsafe on the outside. We had no issues or anything but it just didnt feel like it was in the best part of town. Overall good price and close enough to downtown that it worked well. The rooms were really nice.

Mehhhhh. Really old hotel. Looks like they tried to redo it. The front desk guy sat on his phone the entire time we were checking in. No help at all. Guests were smoking in the hallway. Smelled funny everywhere from the staff burning incense or something. Bathroom was pretty dirty. Location is great and seems safe so it was ok for a one night passing through but nothing last that and probably won’t be back.

If you are looking to score a contact buzz, this is the place for you! The bed was super comfortable and the shower was good. The morning staff was very nice. It was pet friendly, but no pet waste stations. I always carry my own bags, but there was no place to discard it.

This was a convenient last-minute stay which turned out quite well. It is in a great location and very quiet. The room was not quite as cool as we would have liked even when we turned the air temp down. The a/c was working just not to my satisfaction. I would definitely stay at this location again.

I usually dont leave a review based on 1 night but tgere are exceptions! What was great! 1) check in, pre booked, fast, courteous. 2) plenty of parking 3) felt safe! 4) the rooms! 5) full kitchens, closets, nice bathrooms, decor. My night was $83 incredible $$ 6) the bed (king) was top notch, nice tv 7) Daily FREE $$$ use of Birmingham YMCA Thats a great amenity. Especially if staying multiple days Needed work 1) only 1/2 of washing machines, dryers worked 2) lack of vending machines 3) not walkable to food Overall 9/10 I will return, bringing wifey next trip You wont be Disapponted!

6/10 Okay

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The room was okay, but it definitely could have been better. The biggest issue for me was the bathroom. The entire toilet seat was extremely yellow and really needs to be replaced. The appliances, sinks, and toilet could also use a much more thorough cleaning. It looked more like cleaning products had been wiped over the surfaces, leaving behind a smeared appearance, rather than everything being thoroughly cleaned with fresh water and clean rags. The room could also use more personal essentials and basic amenities for guests. Overall, with more attention to detail, better cleaning, and replacing worn or badly discolored items like the toilet seat, the room could be very nice. But we only stay for one night so it was a good for overall. We just stay for one night because we were attending a concert that was in Birmingham and also the pricing was a good easy check-in no problems.
