Stepping onto the grounds of Glenkilrie House is like stepping into an oil painting by John Constable. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you hadn’t made any other plans, but could simply unwind and recharge in this serene and restorative setting. We honestly can’t think of anything that could be improved. From Morag’s warm hospitality to the large, comfortable rooms, the peaceful surroundings, and the best Scottish breakfast anywhere, everything was perfect. We even began to wonder if Morag has some influence over the weather—we had clear blue skies throughout our stay. Next time, we’re staying longer!

Morag and Davey were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Morag making sure I was happy and making a beautiful cooked breakfast every day I was there. Davey even reinflated my tyre with his tractor so I could get my car to the local tyre fitting place. The room was very comfortable, warm and had everything I needed for a very enjoyable 3 night stay for snowboarding at Glenshee, which is only 15 minutes up the road. I would love to stay there again, and another huge thank you to both Morag and Davey for their hospitality.
