"This was a reasonably priced hotel with a well decorated, clean and spacious room. The only thing that would have added to the experience would have been a comfy chair as opposed to the dining room-type chair in the bedroom. The staff were friendly and the restaurant served good food."

"We had the most wonderful stay at the Majestic The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant, we didn’t have time to use the spa but the pool, sauna and steam room were excellent, just the lockers could use some TLC, there was a great choice at breakfast, I particularly enjoyed the poached eggs and again the staff were excellent We will certainly be coming again"

"Every staff member was very friendly and always said morning or hello when seeing us. Although parking is expensive, it is a lot cheaper in comparison to everywhere else in York. Our room was stylish and clean, however was boiling even with the fan from the wardrobe and with the window open each night, couldn't have imagined staying there during the heatwave."

"We loved this inn. The owners, Greg and Lou were so charming and helpful. The location is perfect, just outside the city walls on a quiet street adjacent to a large park. The gym and yoga studio were wonderful and so nice to have right there. There is also a sauna and cold plunge, which we did not use. The breakfast was great. Our room was spacious, clean, and charming. We give this a 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend."
