“Excellent location, although access a bit awkward and parking a bit tight. Cleanliness exceptional in all areas. Food is very good and portions are a good size. Staff helpful when required and attentive. A very enjoyable stay, despite the weather, and look forward to a return visit. ”

“Had a few days in The Lakes while visiting family in the UK and attending the Oasis concert in London. We could not have been happier with The Ambleside Inn - totally excellent stay. Great location, wonderful staff (thank you) and although no onsite parking there are lots very close to the Inn and the short stay (30 min) drop off is right outside. Highlights: clean and pretty well kept, despite it being super busy (it was July!), with a really good breakfast and a nice cozy bar plus Pub Food in...
