โLovely stay, would recommend for room comfort, climate control in every room is amazing. Staff very helpful and provide a rubber bath mat on request. Food menu very varied. Great stopover. We stayed en route to the north and back a week later. Totally recommended.โ
โAmazing experience, but the bed was very uncomfortable so both of us had poor sleep and woke up in pain.
Otherwise canโt fault the place. Staff very friendly and plenty of drink options at the bar. โ

โThis is our second visit since covid. The place is wonderfully quiet and the pool is good. What lets it down is the hotel and pool area could do with some TLC (and a few quid spending on it). It's a little bit tired & the external appearance shows when you take a closer look. Broken soffits in the newer part and the pool needs to be refurbished before it starts to rot. there was no body wash in the changing rooms and no warning till it was too late. However, there was plenty of tea and coffee...
โOverall I would rate this stay excellent. The room and view was lovely. Super clean and appeared to be newly redecorated. My only complaint would be that the following morning our exit from the floor our room on was blocked. Both stairs and lift with no direction on how to get out. Had their been a fire goodness only knows if weโd have had time to find an alternative way out in time. โ
โI don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the cafรฉ downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. โ

โLovely accommodation attached to a pub. Pub served a good selection of drinks and a decent menu for main meals or light bites. Breakfast was lovely, again with a decent selection. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. โ
