"I would have given this hotel five stars, but the check-in experience was frustrating. They had overbooked the hotel and initially wanted to refund my reservation instead of honoring it. I explained that a refund wasn’t an option since I needed a room. It took over an hour and 45 minutes for them to find us an available room. The front desk blamed the third-party booking company for the overbooking and suggested that I should have booked directly through the hotel.
Once we finally got our room, it met our needs. The bathroom was especially nice, with both a spacious walk-in shower and a bathtub.
What truly stood out during our stay was the housekeeping staff. We were in town for my daughter’s dance competition, and every day they went above and beyond. They would leave encouraging messages wishing her luck and creatively arrange the blankets she had brought from home. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail completely changed our experience and made up for the long, unpleasant check-in process.
The casino was always busy, but it was fully staffed, so service was efficient. There were also plenty of restaurants to choose from, making it easy to find a good meal without leaving the property.
Overall, despite the disappointing start, the exceptional housekeeping staff and the hotel’s amenities made our stay enjoyable. I would stay here again."
