“Lovely hotel, fantastic staff , shame about the weather .”

“The whole setup was really good.”

“What a lovely cottage very clean and tidy absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend it . Very lovely village quiet and picturesque next to fishing port lovely walks down by the sea and a great fish and chip shop”

“It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater.”

“Throughly enjoyed our stay, everything in the welcome pack we needed and more! Will definitely be back. ”

“I wasn’t driving and it was only a ten minute walk from the main shops and fifteen minute walk from the bus”

“Older hotel and it shows. It’s a small town though and it’s what I expected. The glorious view from our room was worth it though.”

“Central location in town, food in pub was really good, staff were helpful, rooms although clean were very tired, and no hot water in the sink.”

“Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant. Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry". I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting . Waste of money, no refund offered”

I was put in touch with Debbie after I booked and she was great at communicating before, during and after the stay. I booked through Hotels.com but it’s a Sykes cottage and due to this Sykes wouldn’t let me amend any details through their app...

“Beautiful, uninterrupted view of the sea. House was contemporary, clean, well furnished with good amenities. Lovely area of Scotland. ”

“Hire car sat nav took me to the wrong place, found correct place an hour later, parked car behind building, and put code into main door, entered building, noticed there was no key safe outside my apartment door, the only key safe was by a store cupboard, so I entered the same code into that key safe and after trying the key in the apartment door lock, I realised this key would only fit the store cupboard, both me and my wife tried calling the phone number that I had, and after many attempts I...
