There was a basketball team (about 15) middle school-aged boys staying at the hotel running the halls shouting at the top of their lungs from the time we checked in at 5pm until 11:30pm. We called the front desk numerous times. One room of the boys was next to ours on the second floor. Every time they went in and out the door, they let the door slam (over and over and over and over). While in their room, they were screaming and yelling and wrestling. At one point I thought someone was actually getting hurt. It was obvious there was no adult chaperone present in the room. When this continued until 11:30, we called the front desk again. They said AGAIN they would talk to them. It finally stopped. Next morning as we were checking out, there was another guest talking with the now-front desk person and I could tell it was about the noise. I asked if they had experienced what we had and he replied that he did and he was on the 4th floor!!! Our room was on the 2nd. The front desk person said there were 3 rooms of boys with one chaperone (coach). There were suppose to be at least one chaperone per room. If your hotel gives a whit about your regular paying and respectably acting guests, you should have refused to allow them to stay unchaperoned. Not only for the other guests but WHAT A LIABILITY for the hotel. Last time I’ll choose your hotel when you have no regard how out of control it may get. We should have had a FREE room.
