“The hotel is very well situated for exploring the full area of the Shetland Islands. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of parking space and there is a fuel station next door and a very good fish and chip shop across the road, both of which are very useful.”

Negatives - we booked via Expedia and chose to pay a deposit with the remainder due on arrival and full cancellation available until a week before. “The hotel is a little bit further a out of than we thought. It overlooked the ferry port. We enjoyed watching the ferries (we are old). The hotel food was excellent and reasonably priced, compared to the town. At weekend you needto book in the town. The breakfast was good. The staff were lovely. We stayed a week,so they got to know us. We'll be back. On a another note, we are thinking of moving to Shetland.”
