Great location for us passing though on the way to Wales. Great pool (although extra). Parking easy (although also extra). Staff excellent Cameron at the front desk, a lovely female Welsh bar assistant and the one of the kitchen staff who made us some eggs as we were late for breakfast. Breakfast pretty early finish 9am which bought us out. But staff supper helpful. Bar great lots of choice. Rooms super clean. Although a bit of an odour in the bathroom I think a dirty mop had been used. But overall 5 stars.
The staff and services are attentive and very helpful. Happy stays during the bank holiday, enjoyable gym and facilities. Definitely will stay again when visiting Bristol.

The room wasn’t ready at check in (21:00) then suddenly it was. The room was smelled damp and musty. I requested another room, none available. The carpet had been cleaned, the room should not have been in use until the carpet had dried. I was subsequently offered another room but that had just had its carpet cleaned, pointless. Window open all night to air the room but the hotel sign rattled in the wind. Complimentary breakfast by way of apology. Woken by the din from the gym below. Staff friendly and as helpful as they could be
I stay in a lot of hotels and the village hotels rarely disappoint. The best part for me are the beds and the huge showers BUT this one doesn’t have plug sockets near the bed only usb connection. Love the breakfasts and the on site Starbucks too!
Great weekend get away, reasonably priced and a nice few days away from everything. I was super impressed with the level of customer service from al of the young people ( including in Starbucks) and extremely helpful were Rosey and Kieran in the Pub and Jasmin in the Leisure centre .
Nice sauna, steam room and Pool . Jacuzzi was out of order .

Think before upgrading to a club room as at this venue the offering is not necessarily an upgrade. Room extremely small compared to other village hotel club rooms and only set up for one person despite booking being for 2.
Convenient location for M4 but Village are loosing their edge by being stingy with their premium offering. Gym was ok but limited on opening hours at weekends.
Small, clean room which is perfectly adequate for a quick stay. Extremely overpriced Starbucks in the foyer, average breakfast and gym pool that was far too busy and full of posing gym bros. Access to the gym and pool should be free for hotel customers as should the parking.
Not a terrible stay, but a fair few annoyances that made it a bit of a pain. The room smelled strongly of damp, the wireless phone chargers beeped when the phone was charged (which, in the middle of the night, took a little while to figure out), the electronic window blind didn't work so had a very early start, and the automatic check-in kiosk process didn't work ( I think because of adding a pool/gym bolt on after booking).
There was a lot of heavy building going on outside, which means it was incredibly noisy from first thing on a Saturday morning; however, this one is obviously temporary.
That all said, the staff were nice, and the hotel looked as it did in the listing. The gym and pool are a really nice addition to the stay.
