The positives: big room, bed mostly comfortable, free parking; reasonable bar prices; decent breakfast. The negatives: although big, room was horrible with tatty, ageing flat-pack wooden furniture and a bathroom made from preformed plastic units. Staff not particularly helpful - I asked for an additional duvet and was given a separate duvet and cover. The whole hotel has the feel that they’re doing the absolute minimum possible. I asked for an extra duvet and when it arrived, the staff member asked me if I was okay to put the duvet in the cover myself, I don’t start at a hotel to do that.
