“The location and the setting was fabulous. Easy walk to beach and eateries. Breakfast was fantastic with lovely homemade bread. The actual rooms were a bit run down and stuffy. “What a beautiful little boutique hotel. The staff was unbelievably accommodating and friendly, even though they didn’t know very much English, we were able to communicate quite well. My only issue was there was a smell coming out of drain in the shower. But I don’t think that had anything to do with the hotels cleanliness just the sewer system in the area. I had him call the number listed by hotels.com and who answered said that rising star hotel was sold, closed and under renovation and I couldn’t stay there. I was unable to contact hotels.com. I posted a question to the virtual assistant and it only said I couldn’t get a refund and then commenting was disabled.
