โAfter a few days in a loud, lively beach town, we were looking for a quiet place by the sea - and found paradise! We stayed in a cozy, private hut (superior double room) with an open-air bathroom - showering while looking at palm trees is just amazing! As the cabaรฑas are openly built, there are some insects, but that never was a problem for us. โMy stay was a respite from daily life, situated on a coastal bulff where the Tayrona river meets the sea. The sea was a little rough for normal beach activities but lying in a hamock listening to the waves crash and watching surfers was sooooo relaxing. The property is not super luxe but it is nicely finished and wel maintained and the staff are attentive and friendly. A great opportunity to practice Spanish since not a lot of English is spoken. โItโs a Hostel direct on the Beach. It has 2 rooms with a touch of luxury but it is and remains a Hostel and not a Hotel. We had one of this luxury room with balcony and it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The service ladyโs was very friendly and helpful. Around the hostel are many other hostels and restaurants for lunch and dinner. We had a nice small breakfast in the hostel.
