We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way from Rome to Monaco, this place, although only a few miles from the freeway, it is located on a mountain with narrow roads that take almost 40 minutes to drive. The check in is by yourself, there are only 6 rooms and when we got there at 7 pm we were the only people in the whole building. "Excellent hotel with unbeatable views of the sea front. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and were even able to loan me a UK to EU charging adapter for my phone. Only downside is that the rooms have no fridge. Would be great if the hotel could offer these in select rooms in the future. :)"
"Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much. The food was fab, the pool great and the pool side bar/restaurant top class. Really top class, but a bit old fashioned - which is fine if you don't want the latest guff. "
