“You can get what you expect from the Hillton hotel chain. Clean, comfortable and kind. But the breakfast was not good, compared with other similar hotels.”

“I stayed here so I could spend my days hiking in the state and national parks nearby. I liked that there were restaurants that I could eat at when I got back from hiking and I also liked that there was a gas station on site. I did not use the casino at all other than to walk through it to the restaurants. I would leave early in the morning and return at sundown, so I never really explored the grounds. I did not use the pool or fitness room. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a beautiful, old hotel, right in downtown Arcata. Location is super convenient and the vibe is cool. The room we stayed in was tiny, with only a double bed, but we knew that going in. The biggest downside was the noise at night. Being in the heart of downtown means you are very close to the bars and noises of a college town. We stayed on a Saturday night and the next morning we asked at the front desk if it was always that noisy. The desk clerk was very polite and helpful and said it is...

“Traditional, easy access, pretty quiet”

“Good.”

“Misty was friendly & knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect . Our room was well stocked & clean. The parking lot was secured with fencing & multiple cameras.”

“We stayed here specifically to charge our electric car on a road trip. Two gas cars were parked at the chargers despite a half empty parking lot. So we were not able to charge at all. We told staff but they were not interested. It put us behind and changed our route. Additionally we had noise from above running and jumping and thudding until after midnight. The gym was nice and breakfast was decent. The room was well equipped. The mattress was meh.”

“The cabin was better than expected and the setting among the giant trees was beautiful.”

“Emory was more than helpful and had a great attitude in spite of a long day and multiple duties. The cottage was clean and cozy but did not use hot tub as it really needed cleaning. The place is quiet and grounds are very nice. Bring your own snacks and enjoy a relaxing stay.Full kitchen but bring your food as nearby dining options are limited.”
